In this course you will learn to make a clay plate using the slab method. You will be the one choosing colors, decorations and text: thanks to her delicate and poetic touch, DEA will guide you through the process of creating your artwork and choosing the perfect message to engrave on the inside of your plate.

The course consists of 1 two and a half hour meeting for modeling and decoration, the firing will be done later and you can then come and pick up your completed work!
Federica will be using and explaining the slab technique, which consists of flattening the clay with a rolling pin or press until a uniform slab is obtained. This technique is extremely versatile and allows you to create flat objects such as plates, trays or even decorative elements for the home. You will learn how to cut, assemble and decorate your creations, transforming a simple slab of clay into something unique and personal.
During the lesson ODA will be happy offer an aperitif.
The course includes: materials, firing and glazing
The finished pieces will be available for pick-up 10–15 days after the course.
Thereafter, all pieces must be collected within 90 days. Any works unclaimed beyond this period will find a new home through a charity auction.
